If you have a 5 year old, I think the best value would be Cupertino High which has been making tremendous gains in the last decade and will compete very well with the top three very soon. If your kid is a transfering sophomore then buck up and pay for the current API score of your choice. PS - I think API scores hold very little water - tis the parents that make the kid!
